South Whitehall residents should be proud of the historic landmarks that have been preserved to date.  We must continue to protect significant learning and cultural opportunities for future generations.

Historic Wehr's Covered Bridge

Haines Grist Mill 

 Located across from Dorney Park, this beautiful mill was purchased in 1972 by Lehigh County and is currently a Lehigh County Museum
Covered Bridge Park connects Wehr's and Guth's Covered Bridges and provides recreational space for fishing, sports and community events.

 Lime Kilns

 The South Whitehall area is home to several historic Lime Kilns.  These are located near the historic covered bridges.
Guth Covered Bridge was built in 1882 as a replacement to the prior one built in 1858.  This bridge crosses the Jordan Creek.
